Marcos Pizza - Loyalty rewards should not expire
I order from Marcos for pizza for me and the kids once or twice a month. They are pricier than other pizza joints so we consider it a treat to get Marcos because it is really good pizza.
We earned loyalty points each time we ordered which is nice to know youโll get a discount for being a returning customer. I had finally earned my reward and that weekend we planned to order pizza and watch movies at home but had a home maintenance issue come up which ate up our spending/eating out budget and then some so ordering Marcos had to be put off a few weeks. Finally when we were back to normal routine at home I remembered my discount only to discover the loyalty points expired. Apparently when you earn them you have to use them within a few weeks or you lose them.
Seriously? Itโs like they donโt want to give the discount and hope people will forget or force them to order so they guarantee another sale ASAP?
Marcos isnโt cheap to begin with so the discount does help and we were gonna get a bigger order since we had the reward we earned and Marcos chunked it. These shouldnโt expire at all or at the very least they shouldnโt expire so soon after earning it.
